A lovely peaceful location for a getaway break, close to local amenities. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely return as it felt like home away from home. Thank you both for your generosity.

Stayed here a good couple times over the last few years and I can’t recommend enough. Lovely campsite, has everything you need from electric hook up and water supply to a very clean onsite toilet and a washing machine and tumble dryer. Site owner is one of the kindest and helpful men you could ever meet. Great for a stay on your own or to take your family away. Short walk from the town centre and a lovely pub just down the road. 5⭐️

We have always stayed here on the way to Old Warden, Simon the owner is a really nice person and lives with his wife and family in the farmhouse, we have a caravan, but the site is basic with just one loo, but has recyclable bins and water point, and electric hook ups. It's very secure now and is only accessible via the camera at the main gate. The field has mown grass where you hook up to the electric points, but also have rough ground for conservation. They are very helpful and very welcoming and would do anything to make your stay more pleasant. I would highly recommend you stay there.

There was no answer on any of the numbers on the gate (the sign advised you have to call to get in) but it opened when we drove up to it. This is not the quiet field it appears to be in the photo so it didn't suit us really, there were a lot of units in the field that look as though they live there. We decided we weren't staying when we found the only toilet was out of order.

Ideally located for us, quite close to the trainstation (30 minute walk) and a nice getaway from London. Very relaxed atmosphere, made a campfire and had a lovely time. Facilities are indeed very basic, but that was what we expected and what you pay for.

Great site and even greater for kids....camping the way it should be and friendly helpfully staff, a place to actually relax and enjoy the real world. Well placed too for Shuttleworth and a hark back to the romance of aviation... All in... Great camping, and fantastic location... be back again this year...

This is our 2nd year here with 3 kids. It's close to shops if needed and yet far enough away from everything to relax. There are a few little areas for the kids to explore without worry and it's a nice place to spot birds, including the resident chickens.

We arrived on site on 27 March (Easter Sunday ) for a week ,visiting friends and family. This is our second stay here. The site is a minimum facilities site wIth a toilet ,water and CDP whichwe prefer to large ones which are all singing and dancing. The owners are friendly and welcoming we have a 6 hour journey to get here and 5 minutes after arriving the relaxed atmosphere makes us feel relaxed and ready for the rEST of our stay. Cant wait for the next trip Thank you Simon

Quiet, back-to-basics, campsite run by a welcoming team. A large field with areas left un-mown as a habitat for wildlife. There's power for those who need it and basic toilet facilities.
